Fire Debris Database

Search Database

Relative IL contribution is based on the relative ratio between the peak height of the most abundant compound in the substrate(s) and the peak height of the most abundant compound in the ignitable liquid.  The ratios are grouped into weak, moderate and strong.  "None" indicates there was no ignitable liquid in the sample.

IL Classification and Weathered are search critia taken from the ILRC database.  The search will return records of fire debris samples containing an ignitable liquid that matches the selected criteria.

Substrate material use class and sub-class are search criteria taken from the Substrate Database.  All of the fire debris samples contain at least one substrate.  The search will return records of fire debris samples containing a substrate that matches the selected criteria.

Single Substrate allows the user to search for fire debris samples containing a single substrate.  The search will return records of fire debris samples containing a single substrate including those containing an ignitable liquid.

Selected records only appears if you are a registered user and have logged in to the database.  When this feature is selected, the search returns only the records selected by the user for download.

Show all returns all of the records in the database.
